This page explains what personal data I collect when you visit zenithdevelop.com or write to me, why I do it, how long I keep it and what you can ask me. It is written to be understood, not to cover myself.

1. Who handles your data

The data controller is a natural person carrying out the activity on their own account: that is why you find here the Italian tax code (codice fiscale) and not a VAT number. If and when the activity becomes a business entity, this page will be updated with the company name and VAT number, and the date at the top will say so.

No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed: none of the cases applies in which Art. 37 GDPR makes one mandatory. For any question about your data, write to the address above.

2. What data I collect, and why

DataWhenWhy (legal basis)
Name, email, phone, message When you write to me for a quote, by email or WhatsApp To reply to you and assess the work: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
Billing data If we become client and supplier Legal obligation under tax and accounting law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
IP address, date and time, page requested Every visit, in the server’s technical logs Website security and fault diagnosis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

What I do NOT do

  • I do not profile anyone and I do not make automated decisions about you.
  • I do not sell or hand over data to third parties for commercial purposes.
  • I do not use profiling cookies or advertising tracking tools. The details are in the cookie policy.
  • I do not collect special categories of data (health, opinions, religion) and I ask you not to include them in your messages.

3. How long I keep it, and who I share it with

How long

  • Quote requests that go no further: 24 months at most, then they are deleted.
  • Completed working relationships: 10 years from the end, as required by Italian civil and tax law.
  • Server technical logs: the period set by the hosting provider, usually a few months.

Who else sees it

Only those needed to make things work, each one appointed as data processor under Art. 28 GDPR:

  • Aruba S.p.A. — hosting of the website and the email mailboxes. Servers in Italy, within the European Union.
  • My accountant, for billing data only.

I do not transfer data outside the European Union. If one day it should become necessary, this page will say so beforehand, together with the safeguards adopted.

A note on WhatsApp: if you write to me there, the conversation goes through Meta’s servers and their privacy policy applies, which does not depend on me. If you prefer, write to me by email.

4. What you can ask me

Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR give you rights, and give me the duty to reply within 30 days. You can ask me for:

  • Access — what data I hold about you, and a copy of it.
  • Rectification — correcting it if it is wrong.
  • Erasure — removing it, when no legal obligation requires me to keep it.
  • Restriction — freezing it while something is being clarified.
  • Portability — receiving it in a format another program can read.
  • Objection — telling me to stop, when I process it on the basis of legitimate interest.

Just send an email to info@zenithdevelop.com. No form is needed: write what you want and I will reply.

If you are not satisfied

You can lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it), Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, or, under Art. 77 GDPR, with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work. I would rather we talked about it first: the phone number is right here, and I answer it myself.

5. If you write to me

Providing your data is optional, but without a name and a way to contact you I cannot reply: in that case the only consequence is that the request goes unanswered. There are no other obligations.

6. If this page changes

If I change something — for example if one day I turn on visitor statistics — I update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect. There are no retroactive changes.
