Digital invitations

The invitation arrives on WhatsApp
and opens like an envelope

Tap the wax seal, the envelope opens and the butterflies fly away. Then the invitation appears, and everyone says whether they’re coming. No paper, no phone calls to find out how many of you there will be.

What your guests see when they open the link

Four steps, that’s all

From the moment you send the link to the moment you know how many chairs you need.

Step one

Send the link

Type the family name and the guests’ names: you get a link just for them. Copy it and paste it into WhatsApp.

One invitation is for a whole family, not one person: when they open it, they find their names already inside.

The dashboard, on your phone

Step two

The butterflies fly away

The envelope opens, the swarm rises and the invitation appears: your names, the countdown to the date, the photos, the music, the church and the restaurant on the map.

It’s the moment that makes people say “oh!”. And it works on any phone, with nothing to download: even for grandma.

Hello, Rossi family!

Love is not measured in time

The real invitation, not a picture

Step three

They RSVP from their phone

At the bottom of the invitation everyone says whether they’re coming or not, and notes any allergies or intolerances. Anyone who wants can add a plus-one.

Allergies arrive in writing: you hand the restaurant a list, not a memory.

Confirm attendance

Allergies or intolerances?

Confirm attendance

Two taps and they’ve replied

Step four

You see everything, all the time

The dashboard updates itself: how many have confirmed, how many haven’t, how many have yet to reply. Family by family, name by name.

The question “so how many of us are there?” has an answer at any moment, without calling anyone.

Updates as they reply

Creating an invitation, in detail

This is when the list in your notebook turns into real invitations. Three fields, and you can do it from your phone while standing in line at the post office.

  1. The family name

“The Rossi Family”, “Uncle Mihai”, “Paola’s friends”. It’s just the way you recognize them in the list: the guests don’t see it.

  2. The people, one per line

First and last name of each person. For children you can add their age: the restaurant needs it for menus and high chairs. If you don’t know yet how many there are, you can add them later.

  3. The language

Italian or Romanian, for that family only. The aunts and uncles read it in Romanian, your colleagues in Italian, and nobody notices.

  4. Out comes the link

A unique address that works only for them. Tap Copy and paste it into your message. With Open you can look at it before sending.

  5. Misspelled a name?

You can fix it whenever you like, even after the invitation has been sent: the link stays the same and they’ll see the right name next time. Nothing to resend, no apologies to write.

Works like an app, from your phone

La prima volta

First of all, your own words

The invitation starts out complete, with default texts: you could send it just as it is. But those are my words, not yours.

So the first thing to do is open Customize → Texts and rewrite the sentences the way you would say them: the greeting, the line under your names, the thank-you at the end. Clear a field and the previous text comes back, so you can experiment without any fear of breaking something.

You change the invitation yourselves

No need to call anyone or wait. What you change shows up right away, and invitations already sent update themselves.

Twelve palettes, tried on the real invitation

  1. Texts

Each sentence is rewritten in both languages together, so none gets forgotten. Empty field = the default sentence comes back.

  2. Colors

Twelve palettes: sky blue, pink, gold, sage, terracotta, lavender and more. You choose by looking at the invitation changing right beside it, not by reading names. Everything changes: the envelope, the wax seal and even the color of the butterflies.

  3. Fonts

Ten pairings of heading and body fonts already matched, and you see the lettering as it really looks. The size can be increased for anyone with poor eyesight.

  4. What flies

Butterflies, rose petals, hearts, confetti, fireflies, musical notes. Even three at once. At a baptism, balloons and teddy bears fly.

  5. Venues and settings

Church and restaurant with name, address and photo: the address becomes the button that opens the maps. And you switch off what you don’t need: map, music, gallery, countdown.

Music that feels like you

An invitation that opens in silence is a page. With your song, it’s a memory. It starts when they open the envelope, and goes quiet with a tap.

The default track can’t be deleted

  1. Upload your own

A file from your phone, that’s all. It shows up in the list with its sound wave, and you can listen to it before choosing it, to hear where it starts.

  2. One always stays

The default track can’t be deleted, not even by mistake. If you remove yours, the invitation doesn’t go silent: it goes back to that one.

  3. Photos work the same way

Upload them from your phone and they appear in the gallery on their own, in order. Remove one and the gallery closes up, with no gaps.

  4. You can change it later too

Photos and music update even on invitations already sent: anyone who reopens the link finds the new version. There’s no “too late”.

And how much are we spending?

The question nobody wants to ask. The dashboard keeps the tally on its own, and divides it by the number of guests.

  1. Fifteen items ready to go

Restaurant, church, outfits, flowers, photographer, music, wedding favors, rings, printing, makeup, travel… you don’t have to come up with the list: it’s already there, and it reminds you of the items everyone always forgets.

  2. And your own

Bridesmaids, car, kids’ entertainment: add your own items with whatever name you like, and they stay there.

  3. Cost per guest

Enter how many people you expect and the total divides itself. It’s the number that really matters when you negotiate with the restaurant.

  4. Visible at a glance

The most expensive items come first, each with its own bar: in three seconds you see where the money is going.

The tally keeps itself

You’re not inviting alone

Witnesses, godparents, in-laws: everyone has their own list, and nobody wants to dictate it to you over the phone.

A login for them

Create a login for the witnesses or the in-laws: they sign in with their own user and create the invitations for their own guests, without going through you.

You decide how much they can do

Only create invitations, or edit them too. What they don’t need, they don’t even see.

One single tally

Their guests appear in your list together with everyone else: the total for the restaurant is always one single number, and you’re the ones who have it.

With their name on the invitation

Anyone who receives an invitation from the witnesses sees who sent it: “we are the witnesses Ana and Mihai, and we invite you…”.

Use it on any screen

It’s not an app to download: it’s a web page. On your phone while you’re out and about, on the tablet on the sofa, on the computer when you need to type fifty names in a row. It’s always the same dashboard, and what you change on one shows up right away on the others.

The same dashboard, on the computer

On the phone

It’s the way you’ll use it most: create an invitation while in line at the post office and copy the link straight into WhatsApp.

On the tablet

Handy for looking at the invitation while you change it: the preview sits alongside, nice and big.

On the computer

When there’s a lot to type: the guest list, long sentences, the budget item by item.

Nothing to install

No app, no updates to run. You open an address and log in, just like with email.

Each family in its own language

The same invitation speaks Italian to those who speak Italian and Romanian to those who speak Romanian. You decide family by family, when you create the link.

A new language isn’t a job to redo: it simply gets added.

Not just weddings

The same engine, dressed up for each occasion.

Wedding

Green and gold envelope, wax seal with your initials, butterflies flying away, church and restaurant with maps, and the expense budget.

Baptism

Light blue envelope, teddy bears and balloons instead of butterflies, the invitation in the child’s voice, the godparents’ names highlighted.

Your event

Birthday, anniversary, confirmation, grand opening. If it has guests to count, it can be done.

Let’s talk

Tell me what kind of event it is and for how many people: I’ll tell you right away what you need and what it costs. No surprise quotes.
